A Swiss drink made for cats, not for people
Cat Soda is an independent Swiss cat wellness brand. We are developing a still, sugar-free, lactose-free functional drink formulated specifically for cats — because most cats simply do not drink enough water, and plain water is not something you can make more appealing.
Why we started
Cats descend from desert animals and have a weak thirst drive. In modern homes, especially on dry food, that leaves many cats in a quiet chronic fluid deficit that only becomes visible years later as urinary or kidney problems. Every product on the shelf tries to solve this with hardware — bowls, fountains, water additives for dogs. Almost nobody has tried making the fluid itself something a cat actively wants.
What is in it
Three functional pillars, no filler: premium poultry hydrolysate for the savoury taste cats seek out, taurine — an essential amino acid cats cannot make in sufficient quantity, supporting heart and eye health — and a premium omega-3 source for skin, coat and joints. No sugar, no lactose, no carbonation, no caffeine, no artificial colours.
How we work
Formulation and development are based in Switzerland, with Swiss production standards and full ingredient traceability. Every recipe iteration is assessed for palatability before it is assessed for anything else — a functional drink a cat refuses does nothing at all. Cat Soda is a complementary drink alongside fresh water and a balanced diet; it is not a medicine, not a meal and not a milk substitute.
Where we are now
We are in pilot development, ahead of the first limited batch for Switzerland and the United Kingdom. The waitlist decides who gets it first, and waitlist members shape flavour and format feedback before wider release. We publish what we know as we learn it, including our hydration guides for cat owners.
Get in touch
